Our teaching philosophy

We are dedicated to keeping the family and children first.  We align curriculum and activities that are age appropriate and that meet the level of each child in the program.  Our dedicated teachers are very hands on and are always happy to meet with parents to discuss their child's specific traits and how they are modifying the curriculum to meet their specific needs at that time.

We employ the best teachers in our area and many of them have been with us since we opened!  While we could have more children per teacher, we believe in keeping the student-to-teacher ratio below the licensed level to make sure we provide each child with the best experience next to home!

Meet Our Director:

Cheryl Farmer

Hello, my name is Cheryl Farmer.  I have been in the child care industry for over 35 years!  I started with my own home day care that I ran for 12 years.  I went back to college and afterwards opened up my own preschool that I ran from 2002 to 2008.  I then became an employer for North County Community Services.  While there I learned how to administer the DRPDS, which is an assessment tool for children.  I also worked with the Headstart program and children while in that company.  I became a site supervisor in 2012, and remained there until 2015.  In 2015 I moved to Mini Miracles Academy, where I am currently the Director.  I have obtained all my credentials through Mira Costa College for Child Development and I am a permitted Site Supervisor.  I am a grandmother of 7 grandchildren.  I enjoy reading and working out, when I have the time.
